Koalabear a strong government was required.To stop live cattle shipments (a countries food supply)was incompetent before they understood the situation just because of public pressure. It will be interesting to see if the unions allow the darwin abattoir to operate in a competitive environment,as my understanding is the main concern for indonesia is the requirement for fresh meat for a particular dish which imo is understandable and something the darwin abattoir could provide as in chilled meat. But I wont be holding my breath for that union logic.Unions love the head that way they control the body those that find that offensive need to read the bloomberg article on the economics forum to give them an idea of what will happen to this country if we don't change current policies.Its nothing new but its clear imo.
