Tara Moss trotted out the Lebanon example of Syrian refugees to put Australia in a bad light. Well, she might not be an airhead but its a bad example.
We spend more on our relatively small refugee intake than Lebanon which is heavily subsidised by the UNHCR spends on its 1.5 million. Also Lebanon has imported the Syrian war and has bombs going off in Beirut.
