I was at the AGM and management appeared to have been caught off guard by the chain of events that unfolded immediately prior to the start of the AGM.

A significant number (some being close to half - by my rough guess) of the 'show of hands' votes for electing the new directors were 'Against' their appointment, but the proxy votes were well over 50%. Many of the retail investors present were not happy with the way things went, and showed their sentiment in the content and delivery of their questions.

The DTE story/outlook is very strong and my sentiment is 'BUY', but it was still sad to see it play out the way it did at the AGM.

Now that the new board is in place, I hope they do an awesome job. As an investor, I want to see my shares at several times their current value and anything they do to get the SP there will be appreciated.
