In the 1950’s my parent’s took out a big loan to buy a house for several hundred thousand dollars. In the few years/ decade’s after taking out the loan they were upset for a while because they were paying a very high interest variable rate on their loan and regretfully wished they had waited longer before buying a house and gotten a better interest rate and perhaps a better price too.
Little did they know what would happen from the 90’s onwards and 2000’s onwards where housing prices in suburban areas went bazerk price wise and a boom started $$$$. Then the huge interest paid was in sense offset by the value that the property was now worth.
In a strange way, same deal with a long term hold here. If you buy shares in RNO at 6c say. Then say the price drifted back to 5c or sub 5c. Then what happens: Many start panicking and selling their holding (at a loss!) then some of the LT smart money is waiting there ready to buy the loose shaken out stock that people are offering up at peanuts prices (in the scheme of things) and those people who sold sell at a loss and buyers get a bargain entry price.
Then when some good news comes out or a positive unforeseen event and up and away she goes
Say next year the turbine could gain further traction
Or there is progress made about a possible move into sleep area (snoring and sleep apnea) and announcements out on that?
Then later next year say we move into drug delivery and well being markets
Then before you know it we have a solid growth story developing over several months and people look back at current levels on the chart saying geez wish I had held onto my stock from 5c level or geez I wish I knew what I was buying when it was at 5c. Like they did when they look back at ISN chart from march or april 2013
This stock is about way, way more than just The Turbine. Please look at the long term plans of the company which have been pointed out in past reports and presentations. The turbine revenue to be used to advance developments into other high value high growth areas such as sleep area. Look at market cap comparisons the company has put forward and then look at the unmet demand in sleep area and huge sleep problems around the globe
Or say due to some unforseen event something negative happens with the turbine (not saying this will be the case), then what about the potential value of the vibrovein technology? And yet to be mastered sleep/ well being/ drug delivery areas that could also deliver significant value?
I still maintain that there is big money to be made here for a LONG TERM hold IMHO and that is why i hold long term.
If you can’t handle immediate short term fluctuations in the share price then you should review your investment strategy i.e. keep waiting until you can buy at a price at which you are comfortable with (depending on amount of risk/ amount of capital available, etc), or find other opportunities with other stocks in the meantime if you think they will deliver greater returns and then come back at a time that you think is appropriate before you think it could take off again. Each to their own but research and due diligence is required by all of us imo.
GLTAH and please DYOR.
