Odds on its good news, or at least meant to be. Just a matter of how long a bow is being drawn to make it so. They aren't drongos and wouldn't time bad news this poorly. Simples.

As for what the actual news is who knows. Vague description may be deliberately vaugue. Maybe they have finished drilling the gold leaf swimming pool and intent to announce that it will be filled with water in time for the mine opening ceremony, complete with white swans.

Either way when you are constantly expecting the unexpected I'm never sure if i'm supposed to be expecting that which I wouldn't normally expect or expect that which I would normally expect because in the case of CDU that would be unexpected.

Anyway, glad to see a trading halt. Its been almost 6 weeks and I was getting worried they had run out of blank forms. Can't have that because they will need them when they announce "First shipment of copper departs from Rocklands" and "Production rates as Rockland exceed expectations", but maybe they already have those types up and sitting in the bottom drawer. Anyway they seem to have mis-timed this halt because ZZ didn't get caught long.

Anyway I'm still a holder and looking forward to production in 201x. Now the Mayans have been proven wrong, fox's entire collaspe of the Chinese echonomy never happened either, now's the time to start production .... please, if only so that I can frame a dividend cheque with CDU logo on my wall. When my kids are old enough I can tell them stories about how the "most dangerous men in history" (nazis etc) tried to stop CDU from building a mine but on Aug 18, 2014 the man, no the legend, WM personally handed me a dividend cheque on the forth aniversary of the "most blatent manipulation the world has ever seen". I can then hand them a copy of the Cudeco Trading Diaries, parts 1 through 657, and offer them a $1000 prize if they can figure out what it all means.

Damn, other companies are just so boring compared to this one. Cudeco isn't just an investment, its an experience. Anyway, got to go now, I think I hear the cicadas calling. Got to prep.
