I guess some people r having trouble getting their head around the $24.5M payment.
It makes perfect sense becos BHP is looking after the DOEs interests as well and doesnt want to just give OEL now $27M only to see them walk as well and spend it on Tanzania or somewhere else.
If OEL drills SC55 they pay up the $24.5M.
