That's a great question . They will say that it's a function of the growth of the company . E.g . The company's grown a billion dollars under my tenure so therefore I'm worth X dollars . This is supported by the board of course as the benefits trickle down.
What I want to know is what do they do with the money ? Given that a lot of their living costs are also picked up and that they do work big hours , what the heck do they spend all that money on ?
