After thoroughly enjoying the '100 year old man' story, I'll be off to the library with a list of 4 others from these posts.
I prefer light hearted books, as life seems so serious that the release with some comedy or light heartedness in a book is what I'm chasing right now. Having said that, 'The Book thief' is on the list as so many seemed impressed by it.
Good to hear some more ideas too. Different moods, different style books. Sometimes we want deep and meaningful, sometimes we want easy reading, so indication of what genre the book is will help me!
