re: german foreign minister ...terrorist??? There has always been anti-American sentiment in Europe since the 'new' rich Americans came visiting Europe flaunting their riches and wealth.Europeans regarded them as savages when it came to manners and culture.A rivalry has existed since then with Americans buying up European art and treasures and the Europeans continuing to despise them.Nothing new, has been going on between new and old civlisations for a long time.This may explain the readiness of many Brits after WW2 to spy for the Russians against the US.Now the pendulum is swinging back,and Europe/Russia are getting on their feet again,and looking at those US savages again.As the pendulum keeps swinging there will be painfull changes for the US;however going to war at every opportunity is not the answer.
