Agree with your post Disco inferno except for price having no effect. Price must have an effect, its called the price elasticity of demand. Maybe price elasticity in this case is inelastic, i dont no, but it will have an effect on demand and so it should.
The number of diseases cancers ect that mostly smokers contract is alarming. It should be outlawed but raising prices is the free enterprise way of reducing consumption.
