I think too many people get caught up in the mechanics of what they're doing and forget that the reason we all invest in the market is to make money.

It's been my experience of practice and observation that the less one trades the more likely one is to make money ,and certainly not lose it .I know there are millions of in and out merchants ,to me it works fine when we have a flat or a bull market ,but when the worm turns they seem to rack up the losses .

I'm not saying you can't make money by consistently trading all the time but I've never really seen anyone make a lot of it . The best way to make a lot of it is by strategic investment in stocks that are cheap and to invest heavily as the story grows.

Of course that's not what most want to do and it takes a lot of experience and information to do it successfully
