    mistie-----if you have access to Iress,you will see that the ASX announced at 9.27 am today that the trading halt was lifted and a few seconds later announced that FAS would resume trading with group 2 as normal.Then at 9.39 changed their mind---its all their for everyone to see.Then at 10.01.38 the ASX released this--"the securities of Fairstar Resources Limited (the Company)will be suspended from quotation immediately at the request of the Company,pending the release of an announcement"
    I hope this helps you understand the process.
