ididwork, the curriculum is all about googling. So no, you can't blame the teachers. It is all about form over substance. You get full marks for a well presented, referenced assignment in chemistry and biology, NOT for any information contained. Physics isn't quite so contaminated yet but it is catching up fast.
Apparently in Qld they are moving back to old-fashioned exams in three or four years, to see if schoolkids actually know anything. The first couple of years results should be frightening!
