    Respectful responses to all commentators,
    (1) Yes, the silly season is already upon us (technical indicator? ABC radio replaces regular day programming with test cricket!).
    (2) Yes, $5-$10 is obviously a 5-10 year call. Equinox took 18 years from go to whoa, but was trading in the dollars well before it's eventual takeover. Also, and significantly, it started as a wholly Australian exploration company, but moved into the big time when it successfully took over the Lumwana copper-cobalt deposits in Zambia (when c. 10 others companies had previously failed; lesson being that it is more about management strategy than ore in the ground).
    (3) No, I wasn't trying to ramp up ABU and that would never be my intention in posting on HC (did a hopeless job of it if it was, LOL!!!).
    (4) Yes, I am capable of big-boat dreaming like everyone else (clue was 'pot of gold' and 'rainbow'), but to answer Bruce13's question, when will it hit $1? I have no idea, let's see those closer mileposts hit first, but it hit 8 cents preproduction at the end of 2011, so I see a 10-20 cent possibilty in the 12-18 month range if mining lease and solid production eventuates (but, FGS, that isn't a prediction, just speculation based on my analysis of publicly available information), and management keeps its eye on the ball (as they seem to have done so far). Like other gold plays, ABU has suffered because of the drop in POG and that isn't likely to change much in the near future unless we have another America/global meltdown (POG may of course go down further because USA is looking much stronger ATM), and because the high Aussie dollar is stymying the flow of offshore funds into the big end of the Aussie market at the moment which is having flow-on effects to the smaller stocks.

Sun is shining, surf is calling ...
