On credibility do not believe anyone who claims to have tried a non-greasy product only say it is greasy. FGF-5 inhibitors do not work for everyone so fair enough if it didn't work for this particular guy. However the greasy comment strongly suggests a dishonest post from someone associated with a competing product. (Minodoxil is the greasy product.)
FGF 5 inhibitors significantly reduce shed and miconisation of the follicle (a process that leads to permanent baldness). That is the specific mechanism of action.
FGF-5 inhibitors can complement other treatments.
