watso, like a lot of fools, was attracted to the global warming scare about 7 or 8 years ago. as howard has since claimed, there was a PERFECT STORM (forget what - but drought, food shortages etc etc) - and australian of the year - flannery was stoking the fire - and there were shows on tv about islands sinking etc etc.
in the end, it seems that we were totally fooled. islands were not sinking, the droughts were nothing more than normal happenings - and a few years later, there is heaps of water and record grain harvests.. flannery did not mention that outcome.
the AGW believers should dump flannery, and get a new messiah. flannery has far too many false calls. somewhere along the line, flannery has mentioned something about that if we stopped all greenhouse gas emissions, it would take one thousand years for there to be an effect!!!!!
watso is only going to live another 20 years - and who gives a hoot about what happens in 1000 years time..
oh hang on - but watso is all confused - on the one hand, the guru flannery says that there will be no effect for 1000 years - but at the same time, after a few fires, it is all happening - right now!!!
