well said..couldn't agree more ... I was in east Timor in Early 1975 just before the Whitlam santioned invasion and nothing made me more sick than to see Cosgrove and Howard gloating over their "liberation" of the East Timorese... the poor buggers suffered 25 years of genocide (250,000 Dead) and persecution by the Indonesians whilst Australia (& that includes Fraser.Hawke Keating & Co.) turned a blind eye!
We stood back (again) whilst the Indoneseians thru Kopassus had their last go at the defenceless Timorese and then when all were dead, or forcely repatriated to West Timor and Dili burned to the ground ...Howard/Cosgrove moved in to "save the day".... how pathetic....we should call them the YELLOW ANZACS as the bear no resemblance to those 1915 fighters whotsoever!!
