Ignore the blatant falsity of the first comment, I'll just quickly comment on the second.
What has science given us?
Nuclear bombs.
Chemical warfare.
Biological weapons.
GMO's.
Industrialised warfare.
Drones.
The surveillance state.
Of course just focussing those things while ignoring modern surgical techniques, flat screen TV and passenger jets would be almost as dishonest as ignoring al of the good that religion has done over the years because you can find a few examples of where it has been abused for the gain of the elite.
