mithril - it seems a bit surreal to continue the academic conversation while the share price is doing a triple somersault with pike, but I can't quite agree with you. In a perfect world, investor D has perfect information, perfect vision, spare cash, nerves of steel, and can indeed make a profit, but the world and investors aren't perfect. The primary equity market is the bedrock of all equity investment and equity derivatives. My feeling is that you* corrupt it at your, and everyone else's, peril. [*-generic 'you']
