GZ it takes 2 to tango......all people are split 65/35...the 35 will be the good salt of the earth on average, the 65 will hold a sliding moral stop who's position is dependent on what they can gain...their self interest week to week....only needs to be ideological...ie AGW, the reef, gay marriage (less so), smacking, anti smoking, anti drinking, anti eating, anti population, anti anti, anti, anti anything but only if accompanied by an authoritarian lilt that takes choice and control from others for no actual or measurable gain ever necessary...they will be onto it like a blowfly onto...

I feel sorry for any 35 in a relationship with a 65.......to be one of the 65 means it's a catch 22 situation where by they do not have the ability to identify their 'type'....the poor 35 person is totally screwed with never a characterful way out..
I read it all the time..HC has the most awesome cohort of hard core emotionally damaged individuals posting often...for some reason they seem to identify as left to those who read on paper as closer to center....but this damaged crowd always consider themselves the center lol ...catch 22.
Bottom line look for proclivity, adherence to a theme, a lack of wider conscience wisened conscience...still it's best to just know them personally fora few hours to check out how much of a victim they their emotional illness makes them feel in identity.
