So you smacked your children as they may have been electrocuted as your verbal warning would not have registered?

So what your really saying is that you had no control over your children, so a smack was the only option you believed available?

Why did you need to smack them?

Could you not jst remove them from the power point and sit down with them, explaining how electricity works, how it can hurt them and what not to do around power points, wouldn't have worked?

So next time they go to a power point, do they go, aw hell, if i play with this I get a smack?

So do they try it again, or not?

Assuming they wouldn't dare try again as they will get a smack, I'll assume you only ever had to smack once for each error the child made, or else one could suggest your smack did not register with them either?
