The only way you could use the GPS to check your speed, if you're smart enough, is to have a good stop watch, and a calculator, and a perfectly straight road, that must also be dead level, and from reading this forum, none of the above criteria is in place.
### A SPEED LIMIT is just that, a maximum limit, not a MANDATORY or REQUIRED minimum speed.
For the other impatient ones, that think your odo. always reads higher than what you are actually doing, some will do the opposite. Says you are doing 100kph, but may actually be 105kph plus. Try arguing that with a traffic cop.
IF you have changed the tyres, and they are not exactly the same circumference as the originals, they WILL alter the "speedo" reading.
None of the above matters though, as most of you are in a hurry to get to nowhere, except maybe an early grave.
Tinhopper, Sometimes one should ensure BRAIN is engaged before putting mouth in gear.
Hope your driving skills are better than your mathematical ones.
"This is because I have fitted 215/60 tyres in place of the Japanese sewing machine factory default of 205/60.
LOL, and you think that by fitting a slightly wider tyre, you will be increasing the cars speed, really asteroider, you shouldn`t even be allowed to hold a license with that sort of lack of mentality.
