Your problem mate is, that you apparently think that the only way to teach children the "concept of consequence", as you call it, is by hitting them.
That is just profoundly stupid, and plainly wrong. But when you're trying to defend a loose cannon like Abbott, I guess you too need to say the first thing that comes into your head.
