Hird needs to step down. He has turned EFC into a laughing stick. He was coach when it all went down. He needs to man up. If he didnt know what was going on around him then he is negligent. If he knew then even worse. Their are no excuses for him. And EFC need a clean break. Thommo can coach better so let him have the reigns permenantly.
If this drags on, Hird will ruin another year for EFC and most likely tarnish the AFL in 2014.
No one person is bigger than the club. He should understand that. But egos are big. And the EFC heirachy has fed his ego by backing him.
