Some of us have no problem calling it a waste of money if that is what it was. Personally, i'm sick of waste from all major parties, particularly, at a time when many Australians are doing it tougher than ever.
Take a look at waiting lists for cancer treatment in many public hospitals. If they are unable to provide adequate healthcare, etc for those doing it REALLY tough then we should expect them to have the decency to take a work trip without their spouses and family tagging along on taxpayer money.
Just stop making excuses when LNP pollies are being so wasteful. New blastproof cars, PPL, billions to the RBA, dodgy expense accounts and taxpayer funded wedding trips. Its OUR money, not theirs.
