it only takes one moment of insight for a young man to lose interest in spending their lives serving a woman's needs, however such a man must have the genetic makeup
but the experience you are referring to is the natural loss of sexual appetite as you age. this is too late.
when a young man via insight transforms female shaki via empathy into samadhi, the stream can be entered
but this cannot be done when one is old, with waning sexual energy because the young vital sexual energy must be transformed for the deep Samadhi to develop & burn up the hindrances
where does that come from except from realized disenchantment that is associated with whatever, or notever, continues after physical death.

contrary to your belief, moral compass does not come from genetics - it comes from experience

many people have experience but their genetic urges are simply too strong to pacify let alone control
