some time ago, watso bought some half priced (ie not rtc) frozen fish fillets. ok - they were tasty - but watso was wondering where the fish was.
the ingredients showed that fish was 49% (which could have been NZ hoki, or alaskan pollock) - and the rest was breadcrumbs.
cheap sardines (in tomato sauce) from woolies is better value.
at half price, they contribute to a tasty snack - eg combined with cheese , sauce and toast
