You evidently have run out of any sensible thoughts on the drug question that is plaguing all sports world wide, and prefer to concentrate on personal attacks. I reiterate, that the AFL public was badly let down by Demetriou's refusal to acknowledge the existence of this problem when it was raging out of control at WCE. And, in the aftermath of the Sydney Olympics drug taking scandal by Marion Jones, when he rudely rebuffed Howard's offer to send experts from ASADA. Maybe, just maybe the situations at WCE and EFC may have been avoided.
But of course, the situation at EFC club is no where near the chaotic situation that existed at WCE, which occurred over a number of seasons, not just one, and resulted in the near death of one player, the subsequent death of another, and the farce of one player being given one month's overseas to recover from his long term drug addiction. An addiction that must have been apparent to any person with a modicum of brain power. And that must include the WCE hierarchy. A person with specialist knowledge on drug abuse, stated categorically, in the immediate aftermath of the Ben Cousins drug scandal, that a persons infused with drugs will need at least THREE attempts before they can rid themselves from the scourge of drug addiction.
Just stick to rational discussion rather than puerile personal attacks and you might learn something. And by the way drought in Australia is nothing new, and whilst I have some sympathy for farmers surely they must, by now, be aware that drought is a normal part of the Australian landscape.
