You've missed the point, Share placings should be announced outwith normal trading hours, ie before the market opens or after it closes.
In my country if the are doing a PP it all has to be done in the one day, the price is fixed at the end of the day's trading and then its announced to the market before the next days trading starts.
Thus false markets like the first 12 mins this morning can't occur.
People got burned in those 12 mins, not by other traders but by the company and the ASX / ASIC not doing there job properly and they should be accountable for it.
