If you look in the announcement on 24 Jan 2011, you see the map with the VTEM survey on it. It is like 3 big steps. The 3rd step has got the area where they drilled the anomaly CW1, which is just below and sightly eastward of the Hydrothermal vent which they're waiting for the native people to give them the go ahead to drill. They had to wait quite a while when they first started drilling this prospect for similar reasons. I am looking forward to when they drill where this possible hydrothermal vent is, as that I think, if they're right, has the potential to another deposit like at DeGrussa.(IMO)
Tony told me ages ago when I asked him what sort of distance can these separate VMS deposits be over, that you could find them up to 40k's. After looking at some pictures/Maps of some of the other VMS deposits around the world he's right IMO. You often get little clusters like SFR and then a gap and a few more, or some of them seemed to all be fairly close. Whose to say THX hasn't got one of the larger deposits on their land. I look forward to the drill starting at Curara.
The 1st bottom step is to the west of this possible Hydrothermal vent and directly above DeGrussa etc.
Re; Allamber the rainy season has hit around the end of Nov. to about mid Dec.over the last few years.
