Let see if I can explain my view.

The oil so far seen in HW is only in the fractured and zero in the surrounding rock. The rock itself has zero porosity and no oil.

Hence you are relying on only fractured oil production which when it works can be huge but can be

1 difficult to drill

2 can water out quickly

3 very hard to work out possible recoverable bibls

So is there a recent asx example?

Yes have a look at CVN who have been drilling for porosity and fractured in volcanic rock onshore. Has that worked even with the much lower drilling cost?

So how did Coe etal ever think that hw was going to work.

Onshore u might have a go

offshore the risk cost reward was is to great.

I honestly do not expect HW ever to be re tested.
