If the share price was $11 at that time, $11 is now equivalent to bang on $7 share price.
Also, it is actually a 57.3% increase, not what you and the other excited guy quoted.
Also, as pointed out by JIFI, in 5 years time you would expect growth so $7 would grow to around $10 due to capital growth.
So yes it is very relevant indeed.
