basically, jesus told the priests that their god sucked this really pissed the priests off, so they joined up with the civic authorities (who also didn't like him) and disposed of him
later the catholic church created some devious doctrines to make the father of jesus and the father of the jews the same. hence we have jesus turned into a sacrifice and huge amounts of humans worshiping some incredibly demented creator, and in many ways following his example, sucking down the poison contained within the old testament, believing that is it was sanctioned by jesus.
