Agreed Darwin. Cuadrilla drilling for others is a sensible strategy that will bring in cash and also allow Cuadrilla to further develop their knowledge of UK shales.

With that said we need to see serious progress in 2014 in development of Cudrilla's own acreage as contract drilling is only ever going to be a sideline.

If I could get anything for christmas it would be an announcement by the UK Govt that they are going to overhaul their planning laws so that we don't waste another 3 years doing bugger all actual exploration.

We need to see a step change in progress in 2014. The Govt is making all the right noises but despite this we still don't see any progress for Cuadrilla.
