We are all "chosen" and sought after by God. The word chosen is misunderstood.Jesus did not separate race or creed in his invitation for restoration to the Heavenly Father. Being chosen does not mean we will not have hardship in this earthly life.
All suffer, including Christ who took the burden of humanities darkness on the cross. We are chosen to be loved and redeemed by God. We are sinners. There is evil. Why ? It just is and I don't know why.
If you don't think you sin either overtly or by being self righteous you are one of the lost Christ came to restore to the Heavenly Father. This was and is Jesus purpose today.
The father in the Prodigal Son parable teaches us this. He loved both sons despite their shortcomings. God the father seeks us through Jesus to restore relationship. with him.
Christ is a light to the nations. How incredibly sad he is being marginalized in our schools , workplaces, Parliament and families. They don't know what they have done.
