yep agree but the hidden stockpiles are a constant worry, i remember getting excited 10 or so years ago, that bloody zinc would suddenly arrive out of the blue and reverse the trend.
There is a lot of idle capacity that is not spoken about which can be ramped up quickly. The Chinese are good at suddenly brining zinc to market. I think its just worth not getting too excited until we see stocks down at least half what they are now. that will give us about two weeks of world consumption in the storage depots and start to worry zinc consumers.
