Another favourite of mine is the Washington Redskins NFL side. They are copping so much pressure to change their name as it now (after decades) considered offensive to the American Indians. Even Obama has put his weight behind changing the name.

The owner of the Redskins researched its offensiveness to native Americans, asking tribes and chiefs whether or not they were offended. The research came back with a stat of about 80% of people saying it wasn't offensive.

So, the question is, who does it offend? Does it offend the whingers, the thought police who are hell bent on telling us what is right and wrong to say?

Once the thought police have their win, they will move on to another project. I'm sure the Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians will be on their hit list at some time.

We have even had cries at home for the word "Oriental" to be banned as it is "supposed" to be offensive to Asians. I will miss my Oriental Cup of Soup.

    Oversensitive?? A BIG YES!
