One of the quotes in the article is : "Western Australia is the largest bauxite producing region in the world and it's also the largest alumina producing region in the world and that will continue".

I did not know this, I had thought Indonesia was the largest Bauxite producer. Logically, this begs the question, why are we not in WA ?

The small WA miner you mention holds significantly more Bauxite reserves than ABZ and their share price (SP) is lower, so when you ask the question as to when the ABZ share price will reflect higher value, I think it already is. The company referred to in the article I think is BAU. I do not hold, but I've just taken a look at it, and it looks to be worth further investigation for those of us interested in the potential Aust Bauxite story. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

ABZ has a busy year ahead in 2014. As it (hopefully) ticks off each and every important milestone initiative the SP will increase. I've met the ABZ Management, and they are impressive. I think this is one of the keys to our current SP premium, compared to BAU but ABZ definitely need to deliver.... Also, don't forget the ABZ MD stated he wants to pay a dividend in the 2014/15 fin year, so it will be a huge and welcome achievement if he can do this.
