imho Swan has done the absolutely correct thing. There are only two games left, the tour is effectively over and he's shot, so why continue?
I wouldn't mid betting his spin finger is damaged. It must have been disconcerting for him to start bowling around 15 overs into the Perth test knowing that his body was no longer up for 5 days. If that happened in Melbourne he would not have been able to contribute so pull out and leave it to Monty.

I can't see any signs of him being offside with any of the other team leaders, but I confess that they might not apply to Pieterson, who is difficult to love.
