MacarthurCook Property Securities Fund Fund Update
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The responsible entity of the MacarthurCook Property Securities Fund (“the Fund” or “MPS”), AIMS Fund Management Limited (“Responsible Entity”), is pleased to provide the market with the following update.
Rimcorp Property Trust No 4
On Friday, 8th November 2013 Sandhurst Trustee Limited (Custodian) acting as custodian for the Fund received an unconditional offer by Kibble Trading Co. to purchase all of the Fund’s 3,000,000 units in the Rimcorp Property Trust No 4 (RPT4) at a price of 92 cents per unit (Offer). The Offer represents a 13.6% premium to NTA per unit as at 30 June 2013.
The board of the Responsible Entity duly considered the Offer and has accepted it as being in the best interest of unitholders in the Fund. On 12 November 2013, an amount of $2,760,000 has been paid to the Fund for its units in RPT4.
