This type of deal could only be made in this environment when sentiment is so bad. You would not be able to pick this up for $25mill say 4 months ago etc. Yes if POG remains at its current level NST will probably not do too much maybe slip back into the mid 60's. However when POG recovers in AUD terms NST's rebound in theory should be more significant in light of this deal.
