There are about as many people out there that take any notice of Crean as there are that believe anything Bush, Blair and howard are saying - not many at all. Nor is the majority's views being distorted by the media.
Poeple are sick and tied of being lied to and until more proof and less lies are produced by our so called leaders things are not going to change.
I doubt any of the peace protestors view Saddam as a peaceful person but they also do not see him or Iraq as a threat an yes some of the placards should have been directed at Saddam.
If he is a threat (now not ten years ago) prove it and I do not buy the bit about having proof but not releasing it because it is to sensative this is real life with real peoples lives at risk not some Tom Clancy novel. Of course nobody expects the full release of vey bit of intelegence in detail but what is needed is something that stands up for longer than 3 days before it is proved to be a pack of lies or some uni students assignment from 5 years ago.
6 months ago there was doubt behind the true motives of war with Iraq and since then we have constantly been told that concrete proof will be supplied in the last week the tune has changed to "we do not have to provide proof Saddam is a threat, Saddam has to prove he is not a threat". Wrong Bush and CO it is time to put up or shut up.
