Well, another trading halt, then a poor result. I think these TH's while drilling are the kiss of death for MEO!
Not a surprising result given how far north of B1 this well was drilled. The crest of Blackwood had an estimated ~90m column, B1 had 45m, and that far north was 9m. Tough to flow a well out that far.
The real problem has been management. The MD hasn't offered sensible opportuunities. Time to find a replacement and get some experienced small company oil & gas people on the board, that know how to identify better projects and permits, and raise money. Ex-Exxon people have never known how to do this, as the money is always there for the exploration guys in bucket-loads!
