Yes high risk/ high potential profit company, and i would never defend them or underestimate their capacity to stuff things up. But the resource is excellent and very valuable. The reason their Chinese suitor didn't proceed was a lack of clear evidence re the resource but the latest results with extensive information on the validity of the reported results, will make them a much more attractive target. I have doubts about Belmont, they are not at all well regarded company but they have managed to borrow $300 m. I would not be surprised if another Chinese buyer comes along. As to whether shareholders will benefit it's noteworthy that there are major investment companies with large voting rights, that hold huge stocks of DML shares and associated voting rights. But certainly this is not a stock for the faint hearted.
