The price of crude at Eagle Ford is Brent pricing at Gulf Region refineries. That is true.
Modric asked "the price of crude they receive is Brent pricing at Gulf Region refineries. Is this quite common in the EFS?"

I will answer it with directly by a document from Magnum Hunter itself. It is a proof that crude oil in EAGLE Ford area sells for a premium at Brent price, even 15-20% higher than other shale producing areas.

The Peach Creek area field is the Eagle Ford. The average sale price of crude oil was $102.30 at Eagle Ford in 2012 while other shale areas (Marcellus, Utica, etc. was $72.79, $80.17 and $83.30)
You calculate the difference! So, the crude oil in EF goes for a very high premium, close to Brent pricing. That’s for sure.
