What about amphetamine users? Wait till their teeth fall out... who will pay for their dental bills? Wait till they go on a psychotic rage and kill a loved one or someone who owes them money?
Speak to them and they will come up with all their arguments... about how it should be legalized..
Just to qualify, my initial reaction to people justifying damaging drugs can be a little abrupt..... I've had to deal with the damage in others.
We are all human, we are all susceptible, some could quite successfully argue that those addicted to wanting more and more money are damaging to us all.... agree... because they don't care what they do to get it....
Genetics could very possibly show us who is likely to go off the deep end with alcohol, opiates, amphetamines, THC.... and be warned what would happen if they go near these things.
It's not all about "evil corporations", the "evil CIA", the greedy and the power-mongers certainly have a LOT to answer for....
I am tired of hearing of the crimes of bashings, murder, theft that I know are directly due to those on drugs.
Yes, there is an argument for legalizing, regulating drugs.... but for some drugs you may as well inject a few metastasizing cancer cells into some people for the effect it is going to have on them.
As for the ferals trying to sell dope on the streets of Nimbin..... some of them look like they are pretty gone in the head and in need of a wash/good job, makes you wonder if their dope selling proceeds are servicing nastier drug-habits.... oh yes... a few of them will proceed down the line to meth labs..... but they could tell you about all the wonder benefits of hemp.... blah-blah.....
