I was looking at the acoss.org.au site as its part of my curriculum in some studies I am undertaking..
Browsing through, tites like child poverty, and that famous statement by Bob Hawke that no child will be in poverty etc.
The stats show 1 in 6 are in poverty.. and this is in Australia!!
How have things become so complicated that we cant find a solution to this... Is there too many professors and people with degrees calling the shots, and the grass roots person in the coal face isn't listened to? Whilst reading some of the stuff..I would say cut the mumbo jumbo and do something... most of the $$$$ goes into think tanks, that really provide no results... As time goes on it seems we are heading down the pathway of common sense being lost...
well that's my Sunday afternoon gripe..lol as I sit here studying to become smarter...lol
