OK, she's not quite that bad, but we're not buying her a car, and she can pay her own way through uni. Nor can we work out where she gets it from either! Neither of us are spendthrifts - maybe my wife goes to far the other way and it is a teenage backlash - but the boys aren't turning out like that.
I'd just love it if she had an old-fashioned boyfriend who asks my permission to marry her - "Can you afford her!?"
