Start with 365 days and take off the following:

# 104 days for weekends
# 10 days for sick leave
# 20 days for rec leave
# 10 days for public holidays
# 5 days pro rata for long service leave
# 10 days for RDO's or flexitime leave

and there are 206 days left ... so on average every full time aussie employee only has to work just 3.95 days per week to draw 5 days pay.

Who knew that a 38 hr week represents just 22.6% of the hours in a week?

Imo if you are not a primary carer and you need more leave than outlined above you have time management or commitment/work ethic issues ... something that social security shouldn't have to compensate you for.
