If negative gearing is abolished it is only done to stop tax deduction not to make housing affordable. With china tightening ownership of property now on, when our house price falls they will not stop buying. So be careful what u wish for. I dont hold any property. I did once n every there was talk of abolishing NG then.
I think it will happen with Tony Abbott hellbent on getting the country out of deficit budget. I dont want it to happen but i think it will as it will safe billions.
